Marina Square is the first component to be built as part of Reem Island, a 110 million square foot mixed-use project adjacent to the central business district of Abu Dhabi, UAE, which will serve as home to over 100,000 residents. This new island city within a city will be accessible via 16 bridges linking to Abu Dhabi . State-of-the-art underground Metro system will stop at Reem CBD, and surface level light rail transit systems will operate across the islands. The project is developed by Tamouh Investments, an Abu Dhabi based real estate development company.
Mr. Brubaker was tasked by Tamouh to sell, lease and market the City of Lights and the Central Business District, the second and third phases of Reem Island. City of Lights is designed around a central lagoon to comprise 33 million square feet of residential, office, retail and hotel space in 58 towers. The CBD is planned for 79 towers all built on top of an integrated parking podium, all of which would contain 37 million square feet of similar uses.
