As Managing Director of Sherman Baker Limited, Mr. Brubaker assisted an American owned, Hong Kong based real estate development company, to acquire a US$50 million to US$400 million property in the Hong Kong SAR for redevelopment or value-add. The company was searching for residential, office, retail and hotel properties throughout the region, and during the course of the search Mr. Brubaker interfaced with all the major international brokers as well as local brokers, private bankers, advisory departments of some of the big four accounting firms, attorneys active in real estate, and others. His thorough efforts resulted in several off-market opportunities and has given him a broad base of detailed market knowledge about individual districts in the area.
